About Me
M​y name is Bai Linh Hoang (pronounced Bye-Lin Hong), and I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas, Arlington. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My primary field is American Politics, with topical specializations in race/ethnicity politics, political representation, and urban politics. My secondary field is political theory. My recent work includes investigating the racial/ethnic implications of health-related policies and outcomes, especially those associated with the use of medication for opioid use disorder.
