About Me
M​y name is Bai Linh Hoang (pronounced Bye-Lin Hong), and I am a scholar of American politics, with specializations in race/ethnicity politics, political representation, and urban politics. My recent work includes investigating the racial/ethnic implications of health-related policies, especially those associated with the treatment of opioid use disorder. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Starting in Fall 2024, I will be an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas, Arlington. Feel free to contact me with questions about my research or teaching.
